Halloween and Thanksgiving

I realized that I hadn't updated my blog in a really long time so this is a huge post about everything that has happened from Halloween until now. Brent is just a couple weeks away from finishing his 9th Quarter. He has had 2 interviews so far and he will definitely have a bunch more during his last quarter. Scentsy has interviewed him and is actually flying him out to Boise this Friday to show him how wonderful it would be to work for them, we will see what happens. My Christmas schedule starts today so I will work Mon.-Fri. 8-4:30am, I am in for some hard days this month. Isaac still loves school and Cadence is crawling all the time now and is already pulling herself up onto the couch. Here are a bunch of pictures of our lives from October until now.

Isaac's School had a parade to show off all of the costumes. All of the kids had so much fun. We all loved Mrs.Larson's costume.

Here are a few pictures of our kiddos at Halloween. Cadence was a fairy and Isaac was Anakin Skywalker (From the Clone Wars, before he was all evil). He got so much candy.

I was able to get Thanksgiving off this year so we went to my Mom and Dad's house for dinner. It is always so nice to be with my family and I thought that this would be a good time to put down some of the things that I am grateful for. I am so grateful for my wonderful children. Isaac has such a fun imagination and he just loves to learn. Cadence's smile is all I need to brighten my day. I am thankful for my parents who have done so much for me and are wonderful examples for my family. And I am grateful for my siblings and their beautiful families for making it fun to visit. I am also thankful for my amazing In-Laws who have done so much to make me part of the family. And I am so thankful for Brent. I can't imagine going through all that we have gone through with anyone else and I am always so amazed at all that he does for us. He is such an amazing father, the kids just adore him, and I couldn't have asked for a better husband.

Here is Cadence and Gemma the youngest grandkids.

Here is the kids table for Thanksgiving dinner.

The day after Thanksgiving, the kids that were still there got to decorate Nana's Christmas tree. Isaac was so excited to help.

These are our Christmas decorations this year. I didn't put a lot of my stuff up cause there isn't enough room in our house. I can't wait until next year when we are in a bigger place.

This is a Poinsettia that I won during the Ward Christmas Party.

These are the ornaments that Brent's sister Jennifer gave to us. She gave us Brent, me, and Isaac's in 2009 and we loved getting out new ornament addition this year. Thanks Jen, we love them.

Isaac has started to crawl into Cadence's playpen and play with her inside. He is such a good brother, Cadence just adores him and whenever Isaac holds her she gets so excited. I just love these little people so much.

I think that is everything that has been happening in our lives, I will try to do better about keeping it updated.

Growing Baby

The girl is growing so big. We think that she will start crawling in about a month cause she gets up on her knees and elbows every time she rolls to her belly. She still doesn't cry much but she does really like to yell, a high pitched hell that absolutely awful, and she does it ALL the time. She is a sweetheart though with the most beautiful smile, which we can never seem to catch when we take her picture. Here are a few pics of our little bug.

8th Quarter

That's right Brent's 8th quarter is done and he is 2 quarters away from graduating. He got a 4.0 this last quarter and his GPA is around 3.7. I am SO excited for him to be done with school. He is starting to apply for jobs and will start interviews in the upcoming weeks. We still aren't sure where we will end up, it could be anywhere from Salt Lake, to Texas, Maryland, or even Hawaii. We will probably stay here in Salt Lake, at least at first. These last quarters are going to be hard on me cause my work changed my schedule so I now work Tues. - Sat. until 3 am (if there isn't overtime, and there has been a lot of overtime).

March can not come soon enough.

Isaac's school

Isaac loves school! If he could go all day he would happily do it. He had a hard time at the beginning of the year but he has gotten a lot better. He goes in the afternoon and every day he tries to get us to go early. He is very excited to learn how to read and is doing good in everything that they are teaching him, he especially likes the computer lab, just like his daddy. They had spirit week a while ago and one of the days was crazy hair day and I thought that his hair turned out really good.

Isaac's first day of school

Isaac had his first day of school yesterday and Brent took the day off so that he could be there when we dropped him off and picked him up. I wish he could take everyday off cause I have to walk with the boy and girl to the school which is, thankfully, not to far away. He had such a good time and I am so happy that he is now able to get out of the house and meet some friends, I am also so sad that my baby boy is old enough to be in school. I hope that he will be able to learns tons.

Baby Blessing

We had Cadence's baby blessing on Sunday, my grandma and two of my aunts were able to come, which is awesome since they live in Washington, Brent's parents and sister were able to come and all of my family was there except Tiffany and her family and Morgan and her family. Brent was so nervous to do the blessing but he did such a fantastic job. Brent's mom Linda bought her dress and she looked so gorgeous all in white. We went and had lunch after and it was so nice to visit with everyone. Everyone said 2 things about our baby girl - that she looks just like Isaac and that she is such a good baby. We are so blessed to have this little bug in our family and even more blessed cause she is the best baby. We love her so much.

She is so beautiful and we love her so much.

Time for rice

So our baby girl is 4 months old now and so last week we started giving her rice twice a day, she didn't do as bad as I thought she would, she really seems to like it. She also had her 4 month check up yesterday and she is super healthy, 13.8 lbs and 25 inches - 75% for height and 50% for weight so it looks like she will be tall and skinny just like her brother. Our Dr. also said that we should start giving her fruits and veggies so we started with bananas which she really doesn't like. We will see how she does with other things.

We Have Another Thumb Sucker

So our baby girl is a thumb sucker. She will be sucking on a pacifier and then spit it out so she can suck on her thumb.

Don't they look so much alike? I couldn't find any digital pictures of Isaac as a baby and this was is the youngest picture of him sucking his thumb that I could find.

3 months old

I cannot believe that my baby girl is 3 months old today. It feels like we just brought her home. She is such a wonderful little baby, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is smiling and starting to laugh and yell to get our attention, it is so much fun to see her growing and learning.

Isaac cannot get enough of his little sister and it is so sweet to see him giving her loves. He is always asking her how she is and whenever she wakes up he asks 'Did you have good dreams?' it is so sweet. We absolutely adore this little bug and can't imagine our family without her.

Harry Potter 7.2

Brent and I were able to go to the midnight show of the last Harry Potter. It was so good, probably my favorite of all the movies. The place was absolutely packed, we saw numerous Voldermorts, Harrys, Rons, and even a really convincing Hagrid. It was the first midnight show that both of us had gone to and it was so much fun, plus we didn't have to pay which always makes things more fun, all we had to do was wear Neumont shirts and then have Brent post a pic of us wearing the shirts on facebook and link the picture to Neumont. Anyway, any of you who like the books needs to make sure to go to this movie in the theater, it looked so good up on the big screen.

We tried to get a picture of the theater but it was hard to get a good view of just how packed it was.

Here is the picture we got of us in our Neumont shirts

I have posted a bunch of blogs today so keep scrolling down to see the rest of them.

Las Vegas

After the Family reunion we went down to Vegas for a little vacation. We were there for almost 2 weeks and it was so nice to be down with Brent's family. Isaac has a wonderful time in the pool and we got to enjoy one of the few storms that go through Vegas. It was a lot of fun.

Our little family.

What cute little kiddos.

She is so dang beautiful.

Isaac and Daddy in the pool

When we first got into the pool, Isaac was afraid to get off of the sundeck, but by the time we were done he was jumping into the deep end without his life-jacket on. He got all tan which makes me jealous, he has his daddy's skin which means he tans really good, and now he keeps asking to go back to Grandma's and Grandpa's so he can go swimming.

Robison Family Reunion

We had our Robison Family Reunion at the end of June and it was so much fun. It was up in Oak City Canyon so we were able to go back to mom and dad's at night because Cadence is so small. We had such a great time, we played horseshoes and some golfball game that was awesome.

Mom and dad with all the grandkids, except Gemma Grace who was born like 3 days ago. Our family is getting so big.

Morgan had to be in all the pictures, making crazy 'Morgan' faces, so most of my pictures of the reunion had her in it.

I am so lucky to have the family that I have, they are all so great and I love them so much. I can't wait until next years reunion.

Gateway

A few weeks ago we rode the Trax down to the Gateway mall to let the boy run through the fountain. Ryan and Emma brought Adele and Ben so they could all see Cadence, and Erika and her beau Jared were there as well. We had a great time, especially the boy.

It is amazing the kind of things you can come up with when you don't have any money. The boy had so much fun and all it cost us was a train ticket downtown.
