It's a Girl!!

Here are some pictures of our little Cadence.
Due May 10, 2011

We couldn't get a great 3D picture of her cause she kept covering her face with her hands but this is the best one that we got.

Zoolights

On Saturday we went to Zoolights with some friends of ours. They didn't have lights on the animals which was disappointing but the lights were really cool. Isaac got to sit on Santa's lap and ask for his bike which he was really excited about. It was really cute cause he asked about Santa's elves and where they were. Anyway, here are a few pics.

Thanksgiving and Some Snow

This year we went down to my parents house in Delta. It was a lot of fun and the food was fantastic. We were expecting everyone to be there but Ryan, Emma and their family didn't make it down. We missed you guys.

The 'kids' table.

The great food

Since we were all together we decided to give my parents their Christmas present that Morgan thought of.

It is the painting by John McNaughton called, 'One Nation Under God'. It is such a beautiful painting.

After Thanksgiving the grandkids all help decorate Nana's Christmas tree. Here they are standing in line for the ornaments.

All the kids in front of the tree.

The finished product.

Isaac absolutely LOVES the snow. He would play in it all day if we let him. We got about a foot an a half Sunday night to Monday and he was so excited to play in it for a little while after Daddy came home from school. Here are some cute pictures.

One of the good things about being the mom is that I can stand on the sidelines and take pictures while Daddy gets cold and wet.

Primary Program

Yesterday was our wards Primary Program. I am the secretary in the Primary so it has been kinda stressful these last few weeks but the kids in my ward did really good. Isaac said his line "That's the Holy Ghost telling us that it's true." so perfectly.

I just can't believe that my little boy is old enough to participate in the Primary Program! He was so big up there with his little suit on, singing the songs. I love him so much and I don't know what I would do without my boy. He is such a sweetheart, when he is not being completely crazy. And I cannot get enough of him saying, "I love you and like you SOO much" which is his favorite thing to say. I am so blessed to have 2 such amazing men in my life.

Pumpkin Carving Contest and a New Nephew

Last Saturday we had our annual Robison family Pumpkin Carving Contest. Brent and I did really good, I got 1st place and Brent got 3rd. I had to steal Tiffany's pictures of the pumpkins cause I forgot to take any pictures so thanks a lot Tiff. Isaac's pumpkin got the 'Most Original'.

Here is Elsa and Adele, as Glenda the witch and Dorothy.

Zoey was a Southern Bell. I didn't get a picture of her with her hat though.

Oakley and Kix, as a witch and a monkey. Kix was not happy.

Scarlett, Tyda, and Hawley. A pirate, a witch, and Alice.

And our Isaac as a knight.
I feel bad cause I didn't get a picture of Harlie by herself, she was such a cute pirate.

All of the grandkids with Nana.

This is our new nephew Zaylor. He is such a sweet baby.
Congrats to my sister Jenna and her family.

Stake Carnival

Saturday we went to our stake activity, which was a carnival this year. They had a couple of horses, one of those big blow-up slide things, and a bunch of little games. It was lots of fun.

3rd Quarter

So the 3rd quarter is over and Brent's grades are great - 3 A's and 2 B's. We are almost a third of the way done with school and I am so happy with how fast it is going by and incredibly proud with how well Brent is doing and how hard he is working. Brent has 3 weeks off now for the summer and it will be so great to have him around during the day.

New York

This is a pretty long post but here it is - Day 1 in New York

Erika and me on the flight. I don't usually smile like that but for some reason I thought it would make a good picture to be chewing gum.

Here is the hotel that we stayed in, The Affina Manhattan.

Here is the night view from the Empire State Building. It was so beautiful.

Here is the entrance into the Empire state Building.

Here is Debbie, Linda, and Connie at Juniors cheesecake. It was really good but I still think mine is better.

Lynn, Amanda, Erika, Rachel, Jennifer, and me.

Day 2 New York

Amanda, Erika, Lynn, and me when we were leaving the hotel.

On one of the bus tours, I don't remember if this one was Uptown or Downtown. It was fleet week while we were there so there were lots of sailors around so I got one to take this picture of all of us.

This is a memorial for 9/11 it was much bigger that this but I couldn't take a picture of the whole thing.

Carnegie Hall

This is Matthew Settle from Gossip Girls. I don't watch the show but I had to get my picture taken with him. He played the lead male role in Chicago.

Me, Jen, and Linda just outside our show, it was so much fun. I couldn't believe how small the theater was.

Linda and me getting ready to get on the subway.

Jennifer, me, Amanda, and Erika still waiting for the subway.

Day 3 New York

Eating lunch at Lombardi's, they had amazing pizza.

Waiting in line to go on the harbor cruise.

Waiting to leave the dock.

The Cruise line we were on.

Manhattan skyline.

Lady Liberty

We passed by the temple on one of the tours and this was the first look we had of Moroni.

The temple.

One of the buildings that we saw.

Me, Jen, and Linda outside Crifs Dogs.

Day 4 New York

Me, Jen, and Lynn. We were all pretty beat up by this point so only Linda, Jen, Lynn, and myself got up and walked Central Park for a while. It was so beautiful.

One of the buildings you could see from the park.

Debbie, Lynn, Connie, and Rachel had an earlier flight than the rest of us so we walked down to Ground Zero and took some pictures after they left.

Here is a Cemetery that we walked by. It was so so old.

I took a close up of this one cause it was the clearest one you could read. I don't know if you will be able to see the date but it is 1762.

Of course I had to get a pic of the Post Office.

Linda, Jen, Erika, and Amanda waiting for our shuttle. Erika and my flight got canceled from La Guardia and so Delta switched our flight to JFK so we had to jump in a taxi and head over there and when we got there and boarded our flight, we sat for just less than 3 hours on our plane. There is a new law saying that people can only sit on a plane for 3 hours before they have to deplane. We were literally within 10 minutes of having to turn around and get off the plane, if that would have happened then we probably would have had to spend another night in New York, luckily we did get off the ground and we got home around 1 am and of course they had not sent my luggage on our plane so I ended up waiting all day at home yesterday waiting for them to deliver my luggage. Other than that it was a wonderful trip, but I am glad to be home I missed my boys.
