New York

This is a pretty long post but here it is - Day 1 in New York

Erika and me on the flight. I don't usually smile like that but for some reason I thought it would make a good picture to be chewing gum.

Here is the hotel that we stayed in, The Affina Manhattan.

Here is the night view from the Empire State Building. It was so beautiful.

Here is the entrance into the Empire state Building.

Here is Debbie, Linda, and Connie at Juniors cheesecake. It was really good but I still think mine is better.

Lynn, Amanda, Erika, Rachel, Jennifer, and me.

Day 2 New York

Amanda, Erika, Lynn, and me when we were leaving the hotel.

On one of the bus tours, I don't remember if this one was Uptown or Downtown. It was fleet week while we were there so there were lots of sailors around so I got one to take this picture of all of us.

This is a memorial for 9/11 it was much bigger that this but I couldn't take a picture of the whole thing.

Carnegie Hall

This is Matthew Settle from Gossip Girls. I don't watch the show but I had to get my picture taken with him. He played the lead male role in Chicago.

Me, Jen, and Linda just outside our show, it was so much fun. I couldn't believe how small the theater was.

Linda and me getting ready to get on the subway.

Jennifer, me, Amanda, and Erika still waiting for the subway.

Day 3 New York

Eating lunch at Lombardi's, they had amazing pizza.

Waiting in line to go on the harbor cruise.

Waiting to leave the dock.

The Cruise line we were on.

Manhattan skyline.

Lady Liberty

We passed by the temple on one of the tours and this was the first look we had of Moroni.

The temple.

One of the buildings that we saw.

Me, Jen, and Linda outside Crifs Dogs.

Day 4 New York

Me, Jen, and Lynn. We were all pretty beat up by this point so only Linda, Jen, Lynn, and myself got up and walked Central Park for a while. It was so beautiful.

One of the buildings you could see from the park.

Debbie, Lynn, Connie, and Rachel had an earlier flight than the rest of us so we walked down to Ground Zero and took some pictures after they left.

Here is a Cemetery that we walked by. It was so so old.

I took a close up of this one cause it was the clearest one you could read. I don't know if you will be able to see the date but it is 1762.

Of course I had to get a pic of the Post Office.

Linda, Jen, Erika, and Amanda waiting for our shuttle. Erika and my flight got canceled from La Guardia and so Delta switched our flight to JFK so we had to jump in a taxi and head over there and when we got there and boarded our flight, we sat for just less than 3 hours on our plane. There is a new law saying that people can only sit on a plane for 3 hours before they have to deplane. We were literally within 10 minutes of having to turn around and get off the plane, if that would have happened then we probably would have had to spend another night in New York, luckily we did get off the ground and we got home around 1 am and of course they had not sent my luggage on our plane so I ended up waiting all day at home yesterday waiting for them to deliver my luggage. Other than that it was a wonderful trip, but I am glad to be home I missed my boys.

Thanks Emma. I really liked Brooklyn. That and the Statue of Liberty were both pretty cool.
